Multi Signal Converter (MSC)
Multi Signal Converter (MSC)
The Multi Signal Converter (MSC) is a versatile signal converter and distributor engineered for high-performance synchronization systems. Designed for DIN rail mounting, the MSC seamlessly converts and distributes a range of signal types—from current loop DCF signals to TTL/RS422. There is even a variant which provides optional fiber optic in- and output —ensuring robust, reliable operation in critical applications.

Main function:
- Converts and distributes voltage and current controlled input signals to four galvanically isolated outputs.
- Supports multiple interfaces including DCF current loops, TTL/RS422, and optional fiber optic channels.
- Enables cascading to expand synchronization networks with negligible signal delay.
Power supply:
- Operates on a wide input voltage range of 12 VDC to 60 VDC.
- Can be powered via a dedicated DC input or an external DIN rail power supply.
- Features a DC OUT for cascading power to GNSS receivers or additional converters (limited to 30 V @ Uin > 30V).
Features:
- Four galvanically isolated outputs maintain high signal integrity.
- Versatile signal conversion supporting DCF, TTL, RS422, and fiber optic options.
- Cascadable design allows seamless expansion of synchronization systems.
- Two onboard LEDs provide clear supervision of power status and input signal activity.
- Extremely low signal propagation delay ensures precise time synchronization.
- Complies with EU standards for EMC, RoHS, and REACH, ensuring dependable performance in critical installations.
