Every ~19.6 years, GPS receivers experience a week counter reset, known as the GPS week number rollover. This is due to the limited counter size used in GPS signals, which resets after 1024 weeks. While this event is rare, it can have an impact on devices that rely on GPS for accurate date and time synchronization.

In September 2025 and December 2025, the next rollovers will occur. Some MOBATIME devices are affected. We are sharing this information to ensure you remain fully prepared and can take the necessary steps well in advance.
